About
Global Urban Design is a social enterprise that provides the skills and services required for creating great Places. We specialise in Place Creation, Destination Creation and Placemaking. We are happy to work with the private, public and third sectors, especially; landowners, property developers, government agencies, local authorities, trusts, NGO’s, not-for-profits, charities, community organisations and other social enterprises.
As Placemakers we know what good places feel and look like and how to achieve them. We also know the economic growth, vitality, diversity and inclusion that result from these highly successful places. As skilled built environment professionals we work with you to realise great places and destinations for all.
People are at the heart of what we do, so we think about people and their needs and come up with elegant, simple, effective, design solutions. We use the findings of environment-behaviour research, community-led design findings, urban design principles and universal design principles to inform and improve design decisions.
